On the designated Shave Day, participants (Growers) will shave their faces completely clean of any facial hair, including mustaches, beards, goatees, muttonchops, chinstraps, soul patches, sideburns that extend below the earlobe.

Get ready for a month-long mustache extravaganza! We’ll be growing the world’s most magnificent mustaches for all to see. Every week, we’ll have Mustache Check-in Day(s) where everyone will shave their mugs, except for the area above their upper lips. No cheating by growing a full beard or goatee just to shave it down to a mustache before the weekly check-ins. Let’s make this a mustache-tacular adventure!

The mustache must adhere to a single, continuous line from one corner of the mouth to the other, without any tapering or curving, just corner to corner.

No enhancements! No hair up the face or connected to the chops. Remember you are doing this for the Kids! Use your ‘stache as conversation starter and collect those funds!

While the Mustache Check-ins aren’t mandatory, we highly encourage you to join in! They’re a great way to connect with your fellow Growers and offer support throughout the growing season. Our team will be at each Checkpoint, ready to answer any questions or concerns you have about your Mustache, all while enjoying a cold beer. It’s a fun and relaxed way to stay engaged!

No worries! Mustache-growing isn’t the only way to get involved. You can still support the cause by fundraising, spreading the word, or cheering on your fellow Growers. Every effort helps make a difference for the kids! BTW we have an award for “Worst ‘Stache” who knows you might win it!

At the end of the growing season, we’ll cap it all off with the legendary ‘Stache Bash—a mustache competition like no other! A distinguished panel of judges will crown winners in categories such as Sad ‘Stache, Golden ‘Stache, Best ‘Stache Costume, and other prestigious honors, all determined using an intricate and highly scientific set of criteria. Much like our Mustache Check-ins, the ‘Stache Bash will be a celebration of camaraderie and creativity, where we honor the hard work and fun of growing for a great cause.
